What you get
Days 1-2: Arrive in China
Fly into Hong Kong and make your way from the airport to the city. Meet your group and tour leader on Victoria Peak on day 2. Then, cross the border into mainland China.
Days 3-6: Yangshuo
Navigate the mighty Yulong River with an included bamboo rafting experience, and then stop off on the banks of the river and explore by bicycle. Board a bullet train to Chengdu on day 6.
Days 7-9: Chengdu
Visit Chengdu's internationally renowned Giant Panda Breeding & Research Centre and see these gentle creatures up close. Board an overnight train to Xi'an on day 9.
Days 10-11: Xi'an
Experience the atmospheric sights, sounds and smells of the bustling Muslim Quarter and sample some exotic street food. Visit an iconic Chinese attraction - the Terracotta Warriors.
Days 12-13: Dengfeng
Travel to Dengfeng and visit a local children's home. Brush up on your Mandarin with another lesson. Board an overnight train to Beijing on day 13.
Day 14: The Great Wall of China
Hike to a unique, deserted section of the Great Wall of China and make camp. Watch a spectacular sunset and practice your Mandarin with a language lesson.
Days 15-17: Beijing
Rise early for an unforgettable sunrise on the Wall. Then, travel back to the bustling city of Beijing. You'll enjoy two days here to relax and explore. Board a night train to Hangzhou on day 17.
Days 18-19: Hangzhou
Arrive in Hangzhou. Discover the beautiful waters of West Lake and venture into Misty Forest. Then journey north-east to Shanghai, China's impressive global metropolis.
Days 20-22: Shanghai
Shanghai is a city that doesn't do half-measures. Spend your days here soaking up the atmosphere of this incredible international city.
Days 23-25: Fujian Province
Delve into the tea hills of the Fujian Province. Meet the Hakka Minority People and stay in a unique roundhouse. Experience a traditional tea ceremony and tour the villages by bicycle.
Day 26: Macao
Cross the border into the autonomous region of Macao. Wander around the Ruins of St Paul and the Old Fortress and then hop on a hydrofoil back to Hong Kong.
Day 27: Tour Ends
Your tour ends this morning in Hong Kong. Head back to the airport or stick around for more independent exploration of this exciting city.
