Itinerary

Day 1: Hello Thai Islands

Kick off your Thai adventure in style, on the idyllic island of Koh Samui. Check into our hotel on lively Chaweng Beach and cool off in the pool, or head to the sands for a sun-soaked afternoon. After the sun dips below the horizon, enjoy your first taste of Samui's nightlife.

Day 2: Samui

Koh Samui is the definition of a tropical paradise, but there's more to the island than just the beach. Adventurous types will love our optional 4WD jeep tour including the mighty Wat Phra Yai temple, the impressive Grandmother and Grandfather rocks and Wat Khunaram's mummified monk!

Day 3: Samui Beach Day

Today is all about those sugar-white beaches, turquoise waters, and lunching lazily under swaying palms. After dark the beachside reggae bars beckon for a night of drinks and dancing with the sand between your toes.

Days 4: Koh Tao

Another day, another paradise island, as we cruise to beautiful little Koh Tao. Take a quick guided tour before hitting the beach. Tao is as beautiful below the water as above, so strap on a snorkel and get out there. Tonight, dine on delicious Thai food with a sunset dinner on the sands.

Day 5: Diving & Snorkelling

Explore Tao's world class reefs on our optional snorkelling and diving excursions today, hike into the island's lush interior for bubbling waterfalls and pristine jungle, or just bliss out on those beautiful beaches.

Days 6: Koh Phangan

One of the most iconic Thai islands, Phangan is all sugar-white bays, secret coves, and lively beach bars. Spend the rest of today sipping coconuts on its flawless beaches before a night of partying under the stars.

Day 7: Ang Thong

Spend today chilling on the beach, treat yourself to a Thai massage, or join our optional day cruise to Ang Thong Marine Park, a jewel like archipelago with towering limestone mountains, thick jungle, and one of the most pristine underwater environments in Thailand.

Day 8: Island Buffet

You've got one last day on gorgeous Koh Phangan so enjoy a lazy breakfast, bask in the sun, and starfish in the turquoise waters. As the day draws to an end, and the sky turns every shade of orange, sundowners are a must, followed by a delicious island buffet with the group.

Day 9: Samui & Trip End

We're returning to where it all began today as we take the ferry back to gorgeous Koh Samui after breakfast. Say your goodbyes and either continue your travels in Thailand or head home. See you soon!

All your accommodation is included on this trip. You’ll stay in three stylish hotels in great locations, just a stone’s throw from the most beautiful beaches. All hotels have pools, and rooms are on a twin or double basis with ensuite.

Lots of our travellers are solo travellers, so when you book with us, we’ll pair you up with a like-minded roommate of the same sex. Our trips are great for couples or friends as well - just let us know you’re together, so we can be sure to put you in the same room.

Thailand is famous for its delicious cuisine, and for good reason. With sizzling street eats from the famous pad Thai (fried rice noodles with egg, nuts, and shrimp or chicken) and guay teow (noodle soup) to vibrant salads like som tam (spicy green papaya salad) and fragrant curries such as the famous green curry (coconut-based dish made with a complex spice paste and lots of fresh chilli), your taste buds are in for a treat. Best of all, Thai food is super affordable, especially if you eat where the locals do.

Extra information

The trip starts in Koh Samui on day 1. Fly into Koh Samui Airport (USM) or make your way here from Bangkok via bus or train and ferry. There are no activities planned for today so arrive in our starting accommodation on Chaweng Beach at a time that suits you. Taxi is the easiest way to get from the airport to our meeting point and takes around ten minutes.

The trip ends on day 9 back on Koh Samui. We’ll be travelling from Koh Phangan this morning so you may want to book your return flight for the following day or later, to allow for delays. Your tour guide can help you book onward travel.
