Malaysian food has a dazzling array of influences, from Chinese and Indian to native Malay, resulting in a cuisine that is diverse, vibrant, and delicious. From rich rendangs (slow cooked beef stew with coconut milk), and roti canai (Indian style breads with dipping sauces), to soothing, creamy laksa (coconut noodle soup), it’s a foodie’s dream. Singapore is a tiny country with a big appetite, with locals slurping back multiple small meals a day with everything from Chinese noodles to Indian curries on the menu.

Extra information

This trip begins on day 1 in Langkawi. You’ll need to fly into Langkawi International Airport (LGK) in Malaysia and make your own way to our starting accommodation. There are no activities planned today so arrive at a time that suits you. Airport transfers are not included but it’s easy to make your way into the city centre by taxi (around 16 minutes).

The trip ends on day 8 in Singapore. Return airport transfers are not included but your tour guide can help you book onward travel. Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) is around 30 minutes from the city centre.
