Accommodation & Meals

Accommodation

This trip features hotel accommodation all the way, from charming colonial style hotels to cool and airy beach resorts, right on the ocean. You’ll also spend a night in a traditional Mayan style inn at the edge of Tikal National Park’s lush jungle. All rooms are on a twin or double share basis. Single rooms may be available at an additional cost. Just speak to one of our travel advisors for more information.

Lots of our travellers are solo travellers, so when you book with us, we’ll pair you up with a like-minded roommate of the same sex. Our trips are great for couples or friends as well - just let us know you’re together, so we can be sure to put you in the same room.

Please note: These are examples of the kind of accommodation you might stay in on this trip. All nights are subject to change.

Meals

9 breakfasts, and 5 dinners are included on this trip. You’ll have the freedom to eat wherever and whenever you like the rest of the time. From ceviche and empanadas (buttery pastry stuffed with meat and spices), to tacos, mole, and pupusas (stuffed, fried tortillas), Central American cuisine is all about spices, fresh herbs, and a blend of Spanish, Mayan, and Caribbean influences. Flavoursome and complex, the food is one of our favourite things about the region.
