Accommodation & Meals

Accommodation

We’ve hand-picked a selection of centrally located hotels for this trip. From a charming colonial style guesthouse with a courtyard pool, to a traditional hacienda immersed in lush green coffee plantations, you’ll be exploring Colombia in style. All rooms are on a twin or double-share basis. Single rooms may be available at an additional cost. Just speak to one of our travel advisors for more information.

Lots of our travellers are solo travellers, so when you book with us, we’ll pair you up with a like-minded roommate of the same sex. Our trips are great for couples or friends as well - just let us know you’re together, so we can be sure to put you in the same room.

Meals

11 breakfasts and 3 dinners are included on this trip. You’ll have the freedom to eat wherever and whenever you like the rest of the time. Meaty, flavoursome, and comforting, Comida Colombiana is influenced by local ingredients, and a mix of Spanish, African, and Arabic cuisines. From deep-fried empanadas (stuffed, savoury pastries), and sancocho (a traditional slow cooked, meat stew) to the ubiquitous bandeja paisa (lunch bowl with rice, plantain, avocado, minced meat, black sausage, and fried pork rind) and chocolate con queso (hot cheese dipped in melted chocolate), health food it isn’t, but who cares when it tastes this good?
