From lost cities to desert landscapes
You can’t fail to be impressed by Jordan. Endless rust-hued desert, craggy canyons thick with flowering fig trees, and cities that bustle with life make for an unforgettable travel experience. And then there’s the ancient sites, some more than 2,000 years old but so perfectly preserved, it’s hard to believe they weren’t built yesterday. Join a group of like-minded travellers for this 6-day group tour across Jordan’s remarkable landscapes. Step back in time in the rose-coloured city of Petra, scramble through Wadi Rum’s vast red dunes in a 4x4, explore the legacy of the Greco-Roman empire in historic Jerash, bliss out on the beach in Aqaba, and spend a night under a canopy of stars in a Bedouin camp.

Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Amman
With Bronze Age ruins, a magnificent Roman theatre, and welcoming locals, Amman is the perfect place to begin our adventure. Spend your day exploring the vibrant souks, hitting the art galleries, and watching the sun go down from the Citadel, before a delicious Jordanian dinner with the group.
Day 2: Explore Jerash
Visit a women's cooperative this morning. Pick up some local handicrafts and a spot of lunch before heading to the ancient city of Jerash. Explore the spectacular Greek and Roman ruins, including Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Artemis, and the Oval Forum Colonnade, then continue to Petra.
Day 3: The Wonders of Petra
There aren't many historic sites in the world more impressive than Petra - the magnificent rose-coloured city that was lost to the desert for centuries. See the iconic site's highlights with a local guide, including the sublime Treasury. Then head back to the hotel for a tasty dinner with the group.
Day 4: Wadi Rum Desert Stay
Jump in a 4x4 and head into the desert. Grab a window seat for views of vast red sand dunes, towering rock formations, and open space as far as the eye can see. We'll spend tonight in a Bedouin camp, dining under the stars, singing round the campfire, and sleeping in traditional Bedouin tents.
Day 5: Red Sea Beach Day
Wake with the desert sun, and travel to laid-back Aqaba on the shores of the Red Sea. Renowned for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and abundant marine life, it's a great place to indulge in some R&R. Return to Amman sun-kissed, and ready for a last night out in Jordan.
Day 6: Goodbye Jordan
The time has come to say your goodbyes and head home or continue your travels. We've loved having you!
