Choose your Camper: Big Sur

There are 3 campervans to choose from. The first is known as Big Sur, a large Ford T-350 that sleeps 3-5 people. Perfect for groups or couples who like to spread out.

Choose your Camper: Newport Camper

This Ford F-150 sleeps up to 3 people and includes a bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower, plus an internal kitchen area with microwave.

Choose your Camper: The Maverick

The classic camper. This Ford E-150 sleeps 3-5 people (with an additional rooftop sleeper) and includes a queen size bed and rear kitchenette. Unavailable in Vancouver.

What You Get

Each camper is equipped with a gas stove and a fridge. Bedding and kitchen equipment can be added to your booking.

Optional extras

On top of the standard inclusions you can also hire out additional equipment, including a sat nav, a rooftop sleeper, a tent, a picnic table, & more.

Mileage

Choose from 3 mileage packages to suit your trip. The standard is 100 miles for just $19 a day ($30 a day for the Indie Camper), averaged out over the course of your hire (i.e. a 7-day hire = 700 free miles). Additional miles are charged at $0.25 per mile or you can choose higher or unlimited mileage for $35-45 per day.

Start locations

You can pick up your campervan in one of ten locations across the USA and Canada, including Atlanta, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, Calgary and Vancouver.

One-way or round-trip

You can either embark on a round-trip, starting and ending at the same depot, or head one-way and drop off your campervan at a different depot (one-way fee applies).

Camping

The beauty of a campervan is that you always have a place to stay. You will be provided with a directory of campgrounds around the country or you can 'free camp' in places where it is legal to do so.

You're in the driving seat so grab a map and start planning. You can travel at your own pace and build a road trip that suits you. Plus, with 24-hour roadside assistance you can enjoy peace of mind on the road.

Pick up your campervan in San Francisco and cruise down the coast to L.A. via Big Sur. Venture into the dramatic landscapes of Death Valley and discover the exquisite beauty of Yosemite NP, before dropping the camper back in San Fran. Recommended time: 2 weeks.

Road Trip Idea 2: Coast to Coast

The ultimate road trip experience. Pick up your campervan in California and journey cross-country through the shifting landscapes of America. Discover exciting cities and gorgeous countryside before ending up in NYC. Recommended time: 4+ weeks.
