We can’t quite believe it’s been 10 years since the book 'Eat, Pray, Love' was released. For those who haven’t read the book, or watched the 2010 film adaptation with Julia Roberts, it’s a memoir of a trip around the world after a messy divorce.
Now whilst many of us aren’t quite running away from a divorce, we can’t deny our desire to travel. So, if you want to follow in the footsteps of Elizabeth Gilbert and quite literally Eat, Pray and Love your way around the world, we’ve got the ideal route for you. Whether you’re lusting after Italian gelato, Indian culture or a bit of Bali love, we’ve got a few trips ready for you to take on the world.
No trip to Italy is complete without filling your boots (well, stomach) with food. Nothing beats the rich creamy gelato, fresh handmade pastas, bread and pizzas… oh and don’t forget the wine. We’ve got a lot of love for Italy, and with our Europe trips you can explore Athens, Rome, Florence, Venice and much more. Alongside the drool worthy dishes, you can soak up the Italian culture, architecture, art and take THAT photo of the Leaning Tower is Pisa. Top tip: Cruise down Venice’s Grand Canal with gelato flavours you’ve never even heard of before.
India is an adventure for the senses. Words can’t describe the smells, sights, spices and chaos that await you! From the busting bazars of Delhi, to the tranquil Taj Mahal and stunning sandy beaches of Goa, India has it all. Plus did we even mention the food? Your local curry house will never taste the same after your taste buds experience REAL Indian cuisine. Make sure you try a stuffed paratha and saag paneer – delicious!!
On a trips to India you’ll get to experience yoga and meditation at its best, finding your Zen surrounded by jaw-dropping scenery.
At Real Travelling we’ve got a LOT of love for Bali – and we know you will to. Now whilst we can’t guarantee a Julia Roberts style love affair with a Javier Bardem equivalent, we know you’ll fall head over heels (well, flip flops) for Bali.
