What you get
Day 1: Arrive in Peru
Fly into Lima today and make your way from the airport to your accommodation in the city. You'll meet your group and tour leader this evening.
Day 2: Paracas
Spend the morning in Lima and then travel south to Paracas, where you'll spend the night.
Day 3: Nazca
Enjoy a free morning on the cool coast of Paracas before boarding a bus to Nazca, via the sun-kissed sand dunes of Ica. Visit a local winery.
Days 4-5: Arequipa
After a free day, board an overnight bus to Arequipa. Spend your time here wandering the baroque streets and gazing out at the dramatic mountain landscape.
Days 6-7: Colca Canyon
Embark on a guided tour through the Andean terrain of the Colca Canyon - one of the deepest canyons on the planet. Visit local villages and see swooping Andean condors.
Day 8-10: Cusco
After a final day in Arequipa, board an overnight bus to Cusco. Enjoy two free days in this maze of cobbled streets and markets. Learn to cook, hit the museums or go whitewater rafting.
Day 11: Olantaytambo
Delve into the Sacred Valley and spend the night in Ollantaytambo, your first Inca ruin. Get set for your epic trek tomorrow.
Day 12-16: Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
Spend 4 days trekking the legendary Inca Trail, culminating in a sunrise tour of Machu Picchu. Return to Cusco on day 15 and spend the next day relaxing and recovering.
Day 17: Puno
Journey through the Altiplano region on this full-day drive south to Puno, on the banks of Lake Titicaca.
Day 18-19: Lago Titicaca
Embark on a 2-day boat tour of Lake Titicaca. Discover the floating islands of Uros and spend the night with a local family on the lake front.
Day 20: La Paz
Cross the border into Bolivia and journey to La Paz on a local bus. Spend the rest of the day exploring. Why not visit the witches' market or see the Valley of the Moon?
Day 21: Tour ends
Your tour ends this morning in La Paz. Time to head to the airport or stick around for some independent travel experiences.
