Day 1: Arrive in Sri Lanka
Fly into Colombo airport, where you'll be met by a member of the local team and transferred to your beach-front accommodation in Negombo. Meet the rest of the group this evening.
Day 2: Discover Negombo
Delve into the sizzling streets this morning on a tuk tuk tour and explore the local fish market. Then, journey south to the sacred town of Dambulla, where you'll stay in unique glamping accommodation
Day 3: Diverse Dambulla
Start the day with a visit to the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, before exploring a local village by boat. After a cooking demostration, your day ends watching the sunset over the soaring Sigiriya Rock fortress.
Day 4: Colourful Kandy
Visit a Sri Lankan Spice Garden en route to the tropical city of Kandy. Discover the gleaming white Temple of the Tooth and stroll along the shores of Kandy Lake.
Day 5: Tea and Trains
Plunge south through lush green tea plantations and learn how to pick and make tea. Walk to a local waterfall and then enjoy one of the most scenic journeys in the world on board the train to Ella.
Day 6: Little Adam's Peak
Soak up the tranquil hill-country vibes of Ella. Later, hike to the summit of Little Adam's Peak and drink in the vast panoramic views - all textured greens and soaring hill slopes.
Day 7: Head South
Visit an iconic Sri Lankan landmark - the Nine Arches Bridge. Then, travel south to the green plains of Udawalawe National Park, where you'll spend the night in glamping accommodation.
Day 8: Udawalawe National Park
Journey deep into the heart of the park in a safari jeep and witness the heavy footfall of elephants and water buffalo. Tonight, enjoy sunset on the beach and play cricket with the locals.
Day 9: Eco-lodge
Today, you'll travel to an incredible eco-retreat in Tallala. At the retreat, you'll have the day to relax and unwind. Take an optional yoga session, or just relax on the beach with a coconut.
Day 10: Surfs Up
Enjoy a free morning to relax on the stunning beach, before grabbing a board and having a surf lesson on Wellingama Beach, one of the islands best beaches.
Day 11: Buddhist Monastery
Visit a nearby Buddhist monastery today, and learn about their way of life. Then, we'll head back to Mirissa for a farewell meal with the group on the beach!
Day 12: Tour Ends
Your tour ends this morning in Mirissa. Time to head back to the airport or stick around for some more independent travel.

You should arrive into Bandaranaike International Airport on day 1 of this trip. You will be met at the airport by a member of our local team and transferred to your starting accommodation in Negombo. The trip ends in Mirissa on day 12. There is a free bus that will travel back to Colombo, which leaves in the morning of day 12, and takes around 3 hours to travel back.
